Here at The Quoo, our Queerness isn’t just a part of who we are: it informs how we move through the world and relate to other people. From Christopher’s forced outing in high school to Scott’s first marriage to a woman, here is where we’ll share stories of how our identities shape and sculpt our little corner of the universe. We know that the world of art and animals is full of vibrant diversity (“endless forms most beautiful”), and we aim to celebrate and champion not only 2SLGBTQIA+ efforts and causes, but the greater cause of progressive, intersectional, and justice-focused community building. As this page grows, we hope to spread awareness about local British Columbia Queer causes, uplift fellow marginalised communities and groups, and build connections that span both online and offline connections!
